Pan fried spicy salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon
  • 1 White onion chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped (thai, serrano, jalapenos)
  • 4 bulbs Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Garlic salt

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon into roughly 8 pieces, and coat with turmeric, salt and chilli powder.
  • Heat the olive oil, add the salmon pieces and brown each side evenly. Then remove from pan.
  • Add the onions, garlic and green chillies to pan and season with garlic salt and chilli flakes
  • Sautee until onions are browned on the edges
  • Add the salmon pieces back to pan and sautee for 5 minutes
  • Serve with white rice and a side dishes that are not spicy to balance the flavors
