Instructions
Prepare the ladies fingers for cooking by washing them well. Then cut off the top and bottom tips of the ladies finger.
Cut the ladies fingers into small pieces, and cut a whole red onions into thin slices.
Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to a non-stick pan and heat on low flame. Add the okra to the hot oil, then add the chopped lady fingers. Add the sliced onions and a tablespoon of chillie flakes, a teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
Keep on low flame (throughout the cooking process), and close the lid. After five minutes, open the lid and mix everything.
Close back the lid and cook on low flame for five more minutes. When the okra are soft and the onions are translucent, it is ready to eat.
