Instructions
Heat a pan on low heat (NO OIL), and add 1/4 cup of kothamalli
Dry roast on low heat until the aromas are released. You will see the kothamalli changing color and getting darker at this time
Add 4 cups of water, pieces of ginger and venivel gata (optional)
Boil on low heat for about 20-30 mins with the lid closed
Drain the seeds and serve the tea warm
Notes
Add water ASAP when the coriander seeds change color. Otherwise they will get burnt very fast.
