
Sweet and Spicy Fried Soya Chunks
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Soya chunks
- 1 Onion, big chopped
- 1 Tomato chopped
- 1 Jalapeno chopped
- 1 Ginger 1 inch chunk, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, big chopped
- 1 tbsp Oil Coconut
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Chillie flakes
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Chillie powder
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil optional
Instructions
- Add soya chunks to a container of hot water and keep until they are soft. Drain and squeeze out water from the soya chunks.
- Add oil to a heated pan, then add the chopped garlic and ginger
- Cook for about 5 minutes until oil is fragrant
- Add the chopped onions, jalapeno and tomatoes, and all seasonings
- Cook for about 5 minutes with a closed cover until the onions are cooked
- Add the boiled soya chunks, mix well and cook for 10-15 minutes until soya absorbs all the seasoning flavors
